Goods & Services Tax (GST) - Australia only:
All prices shown in this website include a Goods & Services Tax (GST) of 10%, which is applicable to sales within Australia. Exported products are not subject to this tax, so for overseas customers our published prices will automatically be reduced by 1/11th.
To view products click on the categories on the left-hand menu or do a search by typing an artist's name or a product title into the search field (above). NOTE: Although the search facility is not case-sensitive, it will find only exact matches of words, phrases and spelling. So it's best to keep your search terms simple, preferably one or two words. Do not use quotation marks, or plus/minus signs etc. as this will result in errors. Multiple listing of a product in search results simply means that it is in more than one category in the site.
How to order:
When you want to choose a product click on the Add To Cart button. You will be given the option of making changes to your order before you complete it. To delete an item click on the red button. To change the quantity, put the new quantity in the box and press 'enter'.When you've finished making all your selections click on the Add/Edit Billing Address link.
This will take you to the Account Details page where you have the option of Registering as a customer of Middle Eight Music or Checkout as Guest. If you click on Register and Checkout you will need to fill in the fields in yellow and tick the I Agree box. You will then receive an email with all your details and a link asking you to activate your account. Once you have registered you will be able to access your account information by clicking on the Login button at the top right of the site. If, however, you do not want to register as a customer just fill in the fields marked with an asterisk and click on the Checkout As Guest button. If you wish to use a different shipping address click on the Add/Edit Shipping Address link and follow the instructions. Otherwise click Continue.
You will receive a summary of your order. If you wish to add special instructions or requests use the Notes and Special Requests text box. If everything looks correct, Tick the "I agree" box and Check Out Now.
This will take you to the Select Shipping page where you will see the options for shipping based on the weight and size of the items you have ordered. Please note: Don't worry if you make a mistake as we process all orders manually and will make sure you are charged the correct shipping. Click Continue.
Select the payment method you wish to use and fill in all the fields including CVV number. Payment can be made by American Express, Diners Club, Mastercard or Visa. Customers in Australia can also choose to pay by cheque or money order. Click Continue.
You will taken to the Confirm Purchase page. Please check all details are correct. You can also delete items or adjust quantities on this page. Once you are satisfied click on the Confirm Purchase button at the bottom.
Shortly after placing your order you will receive an automatically generated email to confirm that the order has been placed. If you do not receive this confirmation email please contact us. If you inadvertently place an order more than once, or unintentionally order multiples of a product, don't worry! We check all orders (including checking for duplicates) before processing and will contact you if we need to clarify anything.
Whilst we make every endeavour to maintain stock of each item listed, we cannot guarantee it. For example, on the same day you place an order for something, someone else might have bought the last one we had! If you do order an item that is out of stock we will contact you and let you know how long it is likely to be before we can supply it.
If all items you have ordered are in stock we usually process and post orders within three business days (mostly same day!) except if you are in Australia and have chosen to pay by cheque or money order, in which case we will not process the order until payment has been received. The option to pay by cheque or money order is not available for overseas orders.
Here's how the new gift voucher system works:
The recipient can select the items they want.
Then when they go to the Shopping Cart they will see a box on the left side 'Enter your Coupon Code'.
This code will be emailed to the purchaser of the voucher when the order has been processed.
When the recipient of the voucher enters this (all caps) and clicks on 'continue', the gift voucher amount will be deducted from the total cost.
At this point they need to enter a Billing Address and-or Shipping Address.
They will have the option of registering as a new customer or select Checkout as Guest.
Then they just need to follow the instructions regarding postage etc.
Leather Bags And Accessories:
All the Billy Goat Designs products have FREE SHIPPING within Australia. International rates vary so for overseas orders we will let you know the rate for your country before we process your order.If you have any questions about shipping please contact us.
Import Duties & Taxes:
You are responsible for any import duties and/or taxes that may be levied by the government of your country on shipments from Australia. We cannot reasonably ascertain these when you purchase goods from our website. We therefore recommend that you obtain the relevant information from the customs authority in your country. Please note that we are required to place a customs declaration on all goods shipped, disclosing the correct monetary value of the contents in Australian currency.
No Second-Hand Products:
Everything we sell is new. Some products, however, including many of the CDs and DVDs made in Australia, are not shrink-wrapped or sealed by the manufacturers.
Damaged or faulty products will be replaced with stock of the same item, or the purchase amount including original shipping and handling costs will be refunded, providing the faulty product is returned to us within 10 days of purchase. We reserve the right to refuse a replacement or refund in the event of abuse of the returns policy. In some circumstances, at our discretion, we may be able to exchange goods such as the leather bags if a genuine ordering error has occurred, but please contact us to find out.
Leather Goods Exchange Policy:
Regarding our leather goods, in the event that you inadvertently purchase the wrong item, we are happy to arrange an exchange, subject to availability. In such a case, we ask that you pay any additional costs for the new product and the costs for the return and re-sending of the replacement item. In addition, there will be a AU$10 handling fee to account for the time involved in arranging these exchanges.
We will not provide your contact details or personal information to any third party without your permission. However, we must co-operate fully should a situation arise where we are required by law or legal process to provide information about a customer. We may post information to you occasionally about our company and its activities, which you can opt out of at any time. We may share aggregate information about our customers for marketing purposes and to improve our services. However, such information will show sales and website usage as a whole rather than on an individual basis and cannot be used to individually identify you.

We reserve the right to change, modify, add or remove products and prices, and the provisions of our policies, terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to refuse any order. We accept no responsibility for the content, reliability or privacy practices of any other websites that may be linked from or to our site.
