Peter Cousens is one of Australia's most outstanding musical theatre performers. His highly acclaimed roles include Gaylord Ravenal in Showboat, the Phantom in London’s West End production of The Phantom Of The Opera, Bobby in Company, Tony in West Side Story, Chris in Miss Saigon, Raoul in the Australian production of The Phantom Of The Opera, Alex in Aspects Of Love and Marius in Les Miserables. This CD, released in late 2001, is taken from Peter's cabaret show A Life On Earth, on which he is accompanied by Greg Crease. The Sydney Morning Herald said, "Surely the most polished cabaret act in town." The Australian said, "His high baritone is in brilliant shape." In his review in The Age (Melbourne), Jim Murphy gave the CD four stars.
