Product Description:
The debut CD by talented young Melbourne cabaret and theatre perfomer, John Ellis, with pianist Amanda Hodder and violinist James Stafford.
John is a graduate of the Ballarat Academy of Performing Arts. His stage credits include Harold Slocum in Summer Rain, directed by John O'May, Ko Ko in The Mikado, directed by Adrian Barnes, the Melbourne season of The Wizard Of Oz and a regional tour of Victoria with his cabaret group, One Night Stand, which coincided with their debut album Awaking Moment.
John's passion for contemporary new works lead him to co-produce the Australasian Premiere of Songs For A New World in 2001 at Chapel Off Chapel in Melbourne.
For some years now John has been based in the UK, working in London and regional theatre.
