Welcome to the Inside of Ed’s Head demonstrates Perfect’s extraordinary lyrical and compositional talent, ranging through cabaret, funk, jazz, art song and gospel. Special guests on the album include Marie Charalambous, Helen Noonan, Chelsea Plumley, Robyn Arthur, Melissa Langton and Ezekial Ox.
Since graduating from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2001, Eddie Perfect has notched up an impressive list of credits and won a Green Room Award for Best Cabaret as part of the 2002 Melbourne Fringe Festival with Cliffhanger – Catch A Falling Star. Eddie performed with Jason Robert Brown at the final night concert of the 2003 Adelaide Cabaret Festival and, following his appearance at the 2003 Sydney Cabaret Convention, The Daily Telegraph wrote: "One of the bright new stars to emerge... was crooner Eddie Perfect. Hailed by some as the new Peter Allen, Perfect... wowed the crowd at the Town Hall on Thursday night." Other stage credits include the Australian premiere of Nick Enrights’ The Poor Student; The Market Cabaret Series; Marty and Damo are Back in Town... & so is Eddie; and Bat Boy The Musical. His television appearances include Bootleg, MDA, Blue Heelers and Stingers.
