Eurobeat - Almost Eurovision (Sarajevo) - The Unoriginal Soundtrack

Category: Cast Recordings, Musicals, Soundtracks - Australian Product Code: EUROBEAT2008
 GNG

Now: $29.95 AUD

Product Description:

2007 recording of the hit Australian musical Eurobeat, which enjoyed a sell-out national tour and will be staged in the UK in 2008!

Original music, lyrics and book by Craig Christie and Andrew Patterson.

Eurobeat met with spectacular success at the 2007 Edinburgh Festival, becoming the hit and best selling show of the festival and winning the Fringe Festival Best Musical award. Plans are now well underway for a regional tour of the UK and Eurobeat will open in London's West End in 2008.

"Eurobeat does (it) with affection, charm and lashings of camp...a silly show, perfect for a drunken night out, but it's also a deceptively clever one, equally enjoyable sober" The Scotsman August 6th 2007

"Not only is the music tackily fun, but the lyrics are fantastically ingenious and provocative... the perfect night out with your group of friends" Hairline August 2007

"Instantly, wonderfully funny.. will almost certainly shift south of Edinburgh" The Times August 2007

"As glittery, glossy, camp, tacky and loud as they come ...has cult status written all over it" Onstage Scotland August 2007
