Jungle Bungle is the original soundtrack of the new musical of the same name touring throughout Australia in August /September 2009 before it heads overseas for a three month tour of the U.K. It is the latest in a series of original musicals written to celebrate Children’s Book Week in Australia by Craig Christie, who is best known perhaps as the creator and co-writer of the Australian and West End hit show Eurobeat.
This year’s soundtrack brings together the same team that produced the hugely successful Rev It Up in 2008 with all songs written by Craig Christie, arrangements and backing vocals by Christie’s son Andrew and lead vocals by Cole Rintoul and Esther Hannaford.
With 700 performances booked for the 2009 Australian tour and bookings extending from September to Christmas in the UK, Jungle Bungle is certain to be the most successful of the series so far.
