Shane Hewitt

Shane Hewitt started out in the entertainment industry as lead singer of popular 70s rock group Lotus, before going solo. He released two singles and appeared on several albums. In 1973 he jumped to the other side of the footlights to work with theatre-legend, Kenn Brodziak. This led to senior management positions over the next twenty years with some of Australia’s leading arts and entertainment organisations. Shane resumed performing in 1997 and has since released three CDs. As well as performing concerts and cabaret shows, and developing Middle Eight Music, he continues to do consultancy work in the industry and serves in an honorary capacity on numerous boards and committees.
